"The Average Woman" is just an average society drama; the principal players are satisfactory, and there are some comic situations introduced here and there. But the material is insufficient for the footage allotted to it, which means inevitably that the interest is alternately held and lost: --

A young newspaperman (hero) is asked to write an article on "The Average Woman." In search of material, he goes to the Public Library, where he encounters the flapperish young daughter (heroine) of a well-known judge. With certain preconceived notions about his subject, he decides to use this girl as his lierary model. When she leaves the library, he follows her. Thus the business-begun pursuit of the heroine terminates in a romance between the two.

Acceptable in houses which change bill frequently.
